Kelsey regularly advises clients regarding entity formation and governance structures, acquisition and divestiture transactions, regulatory compliance, securities law matters, data privacy and governance, and negotiates complex commercial agreements, purchase and sale agreements, master service agreements, license agreements, consulting agreements, and data protection agreements. She also counsels financial institutions regarding governance, regulatory, mergers and acquisitions, and public filing matters, and nonprofit organizations on formation, governance and compliance matters.
Before joining Frederic Dorwart, Lawyers PLLC in 2021, Kelsey interned with the firm during law school. Prior to practicing law, she worked at Verit Advisors as an Investment Banking Associate focusing on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) advisory services, and also worked in the Investment Banking division of Robert W. Baird & Co. (Technology & Services Group), where she gained substantial transaction execution experience.
Kelsey graduated cum laude from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif. She also graduated summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis with honors in economics and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. While at WashU, she played four years of varsity softball, served as team captain, and was a three-time Capital One Academic All-American.
