Patrick Dean is a transactional attorney who provides strategic counsel to clients seeking to grow, structure, and protect their businesses across a broad range of industries. His practice focuses on private equity and corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments, divestitures, recapitalizations, securities matters, and general corporate governance. Patrick also regularly represents lenders in single-lender and syndicated loan transactions involving acquisition, construction, and refinance financing across a broad range of industries.

He is known for his analytical approach, responsiveness, and ability to efficiently guide transactions from initial structuring through closing while remaining focused on long-term business objectives and risk management.
Before joining Frederic Dorwart, Lawyers PLLC, Patrick practiced at prominent national and regional law firms, where he advised clients on a variety of corporate and transactional matters. He also served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Jane Boyle of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Patrick graduated second in his class from Texas A&M University School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Texas A&M Law Review. Prior to practicing law, he worked as a Landman in the oil and gas industry in Texas, North Dakota, and Ohio, providing him with firsthand industry experience that continues to inform his legal practice.
